otherwise stated and Sunday meeting times are as detailed below. Please

birds. The Rare Varieties Show is for

& Marion Wixon refreshments on sale (donations of cakes etc
appreciated!). |

Rodney Harris and Edgar Swan. We have
the Biggest Prize Fund in the Western Counties Region. Please fill all of your cages. |

YOUNG STOCK/BARHEAD & RARE VARIETIES SHOWS |

Once again we are holding the three shows on the same afternoon to
prevent the necessity for birds to be taken out at night. |
|||||||
|
Young Stock/Barhead
Show - You may enter any birds that have started to moult, as
well as barheads, which you have bred in 2008 - ANY COLOUR AND AS MANY AS YOU
WISH. It is good training for babies
to experience a short show to prepare them for the 1 and 2 day shows later in
the year, allowance will be made for young stock birds that have not
completed their first moult. |

Rare Varieties Show - All Age
birds, including babies if you wish: entry is restricted to the following
varieties: lutino, albino, spangle, dominant & recessive pied, crest,
clearwing, yellow face and any other colour. |
|||||||
|
The same birds can be
entered in both shows. |
|||||||
|
Please Note: seed is not allowed in cages at Bridgwater Sports and Social Club,
except at the Open Show when cages must contain seed. |
|||||||
|
2008 MEMBERS' SHOW |
|||||||
|
The Members' Show will be
included in our Open Show. You do not
need to make a separate entry – when you enter the open show your birds are
automatically included in this competition.
Any Age Birds can be owner-bred or bought birds. Birds entered as Young Birds must be
owner-bred. There are many perpetual
trophies to be won. Please bring as
many birds as possible to make it a show to remember and help us maintain our
position as one of the leading UK clubs. |
